1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and MIX CENTURY SERVICES SDN. BHD. (Reg. No. 202201039824 (1485521-V)), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By using ROVI+, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
2. Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 13. If you are below the age of majority where you live, use requires a parent or legal guardian's permission and supervision. Keep your Apple or Google account secure and provide accurate profile information. Do not sell, improperly transfer, impersonate or share another person's account.
Play can begin locally without an account. Apple or Google sign-in connects a game save to that account. Check save status and any restore or merge confirmation before changing devices or deleting local data. We cannot promise recovery of unsynced device-only progress.
3. Fitness and outdoor safety
ROVI+ is an entertainment and motivation game, not medical, diagnostic, personalised training, navigation, rescue or emergency advice. Choose activities appropriate for your health, ability, surroundings and weather. Rest when needed; a game reward is never a reason to ignore pain, illness or unsafe conditions.
Do not operate the app while moving unsafely. You are responsible for route choice, traffic awareness, equipment, hydration, local rules and access restrictions. Virtual scenery and altitude are authored game illustrations, not instructions to climb a mountain or a surveyed route. Seek professional advice before starting a new activity programme when appropriate.
4. Activity, challenges and journey progress
Activity-based challenges use the Apple Health metrics you permit. Sensor records can be delayed, incomplete or corrected. Card categories, targets and daily, weekly or monthly periods determine eligible progress; the app's local day and time zone are relevant. A draw alone does not complete a challenge.
Each selected virtual world requires its displayed goal of recorded Solo challenge completions earned after starting that journey. Completing one challenge per day takes roughly as many days as that world's goal; additional completed challenges can finish it sooner. Your hero advances from those completion receipts. Browsing scenery or replaying an earned step does not earn XP, activity, quest completions or additional journey progress. Finish a selected world before switching worlds.
We may adjust goals, rewards, availability or invalid and duplicated results for safety, fairness and technical corrections. A visual estimate, scene distance or scenery altitude is not a record of actual travel.
5. Friends, rooms and events
Participation is voluntary. Event creators are responsible for safe goals, descriptions, visibility and invitations. Public rooms are discoverable; private invitations and codes do not guarantee confidentiality because participants can reshare content. Do not publish another person's private information.
Creating, joining and accepting invitations share a per-user limit of four weekly rooms per week and two raid rooms per month. Leaving does not restore a consumed slot. Shared results and rankings are for entertainment, not certified sporting results or cash prizes unless separate published competition rules expressly say otherwise.
6. Acceptable use and safety reports
Do not falsify activity, manipulate rankings, harass or threaten people, impersonate others, publish private information, upload unlawful or infringing content, bypass access controls, overload the service, distribute malicious material or organise unsafe activity or gambling.
Report objectionable profiles, rooms or other content to support@mixcenturyservices.com with enough information to locate it. Avoid including raw Health records or unnecessary personal information. We may investigate and remove content or restrict accounts; these Terms do not imply that every moderation feature is already implemented in the app.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt and display it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and provide sharing you choose. You must have the necessary rights and consent, including for other people's portraits. Content may be removed through available controls or support, subject to lawful retention and restricted backups.
8. Virtual items
XP, levels, coins, titles, companions, outfits and campsite items are licences for use within ROVI+, not cash, property or transferable value. We may correct or rebalance them. Resting at camp, changing outfits and animation replays do not earn activity rewards. Any future paid product or sponsored competition will have terms disclosed before purchase or entry.
9. Intellectual property
ROVI+ software, original artwork, worlds, characters, designs, text and sounds are owned by Mix Century or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as intended. Geographic inspiration does not imply endorsement or affiliation with a destination, race organiser or equipment brand. Third-party rights and open-source notices remain applicable.
10. Third-party platforms
Apple Health, Apple and Google authentication, Supabase, Cloudflare and any social service you choose also have their own terms and policies. Their availability is outside our reasonable control. Apple is not a party to these service Terms and is not responsible for ROVI+ support. Unless a separate app licence is supplied, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app; mandatory platform and consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Availability and notifications
Features and content may change and beta features may contain errors. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular fitness outcome. Keep reasonable backups and check confirmed sync status. iOS controls background Health delivery and local notifications; force-quitting or unavailable permissions can prevent timely updates. The current release does not provide closed-app remote push for friend and room invitations.
12. Ending use and account deletion
You may stop using ROVI+ or request account deletion in Me → Settings & Privacy → Account & deletion request or through support. A verified request is manually fulfilled within 3 days, with confirmation and linked Apple sign-in revocation where applicable. It is not immediate deletion; signing out alone does not delete the account. See the Privacy Policy for Health records, local saves and restricted retention.
We may restrict or end access for abuse, unsafe conduct, breaches of these Terms or legal requirements. Where appropriate we will provide notice or an opportunity to contact support. Terms that need to survive termination continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, ROVI+ is provided as is and as available without implied warranties. We do not guarantee activity accuracy, fitness outcomes, rewards, rankings or availability. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mix Century is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data or opportunity, or loss arising from unsafe activity, third-party services or unauthorised account access. Total liability for claims relating to the free service is limited to MYR 200 unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Malaysian law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Malaysian courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Contact support@mixcenturyservices.com so we can try to resolve concerns informally. Mandatory consumer rights and available remedies where you live remain unaffected.
15. Changes and contact
We will communicate material changes through the app, website or another appropriate notice. Updated Terms apply from their effective date, subject to any notice or consent required by law. Questions, support and safety reports: support@mixcenturyservices.com.
