Weekly Plan

A running plan that adapts when the week changes.

Tell PACEVARO when you can train. It balances your goal with workload, family time, recovery, and the kind of running you enjoy.

  • Plans around availability, energy, and commitments.
  • Road or trail. Short or long. You choose.
  • Manual swaps stay available when the week changes.

Today

Turn uncertainty into today’s decision.

Start with a clear answer: train, adjust, or recover. PACEVARO pairs your recent training with the context you add today.

  • Readiness considers recovery, load, and context.
  • Clear guidance for speed, steady, or rest days.
  • More comparable runs means better confidence.

Daily Check-in

Check in. Adapt. Keep moving.

A quick update helps PACEVARO understand the day before it changes the plan. Beginners can tap the body map instead of naming a muscle.

  • Log energy, sleep, stress, illness, or sudden work.
  • Use the body map when soreness is hard to name.
  • PACEVARO carries the change into your next plan.

One plan · Two kinds of running

Move between road and trail without losing the thread.

PACEVARO keeps effort, elevation, recovery, and weekly workload in context as your training moves between faster road sessions and demanding trail days.

Trail running

Climb, descend, and adapt to the terrain.

Plan by time or distance, keep elevation in view, and judge trail workload by more than pace alone when technical ground changes the effort.

Road running

Find rhythm when the route rewards speed.

Use comparable road efforts, heart-rate context, and readiness guidance to shape intervals, steady runs, and recovery around the workload you can handle today.

Journey

See whether the work is working.

Journey turns completed training into useful trends, plan adherence, and race direction. It keeps the coaching action visible without burying you in charts.

  • Fitness, fatigue, form, and plan adherence in one view.
  • Road and trail trends stay in comparable cohorts.
  • Race trajectory shows target, prediction, confidence, and phase.

PACEVARO facts

What runners should know.

What is PACEVARO?

PACEVARO is an iPhone running and trail running app for people balancing training with unpredictable work, family commitments, recovery and workload. It combines readiness, daily check-ins, preset weekly plans, progress trends and optional AI Coaching.

How can I train when work or shifts change my running schedule?

Add the availability and commitments that matter, then use a daily check-in when work, family, illness, soreness or poor recovery changes the plan. PACEVARO helps you adjust the session without losing sight of the week. Manual workout swaps stay available without using AI allowance.

Is PACEVARO designed for trail runners as well as road runners?

Yes. PACEVARO supports road and trail plans, distance and duration goals, elevation context, race preparation and comparable training trends. Training guidance is not trail navigation or a guarantee that a route or its conditions are safe.

Does PACEVARO require Apple Health or a particular running device?

Apple Health is optional and is PACEVARO’s workout connection. If you record with another app or device, first enable its supported sharing to Apple Health, then allow PACEVARO to read the relevant categories. Available workout details depend on what that source writes to Apple Health.

Can beginners use PACEVARO without an account or AI subscription?

Yes. Core local features and preset Run and Trail weekly plans work without an account or AI subscription. Sign in with Apple is required to verify AI Coaching access. A separate 12-week beginner run/walk starter is being tested for version 1.0.1; it is not included in the public 1.0 release yet.

How much does AI Coaching cost outside the United States?

The U.S. reference prices are USD 7.99 per month or USD 69.99 per year. PACEVARO is designed for runners worldwide, not only Malaysia. Apple shows the price, currency, taxes, availability and renewal terms for your App Store country or region before purchase. Core features remain free.

Is the seven-day AI trial available at launch?

No. The proposed seven-day Apple-managed trial is not active for the launch. It is planned for a later rollout and will apply only when Apple displays an eligible offer before purchase. Version 1.0.1 is currently in TestFlight, not the public App Store release.

Will my setup follow me to another iPhone?

Optional weekly iCloud setup sync can move curated small records between compatible iPhones using the same Apple Account. Photos and Apple Health workout caches are excluded, so it is not a complete backup. Manual Export and Import supports compressed eligible photos and files up to 1 GB. Keep an exported backup before changing phones.

What happens when I reach my AI allowance?

Your saved plan remains available and manual workout swaps stay usable. Standard paid access includes 12 plan generations monthly, with a maximum of 3 per week; 4 weekly reviews monthly, with one saved review per selected completed week; and 4 race reviews monthly, with a maximum of 1 per week. Check the allowance screen in the app for your reset dates.

Does PACEVARO provide medical advice?

No. PACEVARO provides general fitness guidance, not diagnosis, treatment or injury prevention. AI output and readiness estimates may be incomplete or unsuitable. Use your own judgment and seek qualified advice when needed.

A message from the builder

Why I built PACEVARO

Training should work with your life—not ask you to pretend it never changes.

I built PACEVARO because most training plans assume the week will stay predictable. Real life rarely does. Work runs late, family needs time, recovery changes, weather turns, and sometimes the body simply says something different.

PACEVARO is my attempt to make running guidance feel more honest: start with the week you actually have, adapt without guilt when it changes, and keep moving with purpose. Whether you run roads, trails, or both, I hope it gives you more confidence in the decisions between the starting line and the finish.

Private by design
