At a glance

PACEVARO combines free manual and preset planning with readiness, daily check-ins, session guidance, Journey trends and race preparation. Optional AI Coaching adds requested planning and reviews. Compatible phone recording, Apple Health and Apple Watch workout handoff connect training to the plan.

MADE PRACTICAL

See what that means for your running.

Useful guidance starts with what you can actually do, and what you choose to share.

01

Today: understand the next step.

Bring the planned session, recent recorded activity and available recovery signals into one view. Compact local weather and strain summaries open into more detail. Strain estimates accumulated workload, while readiness gives heuristic training guidance. Missing measurements remain unknown. Review current symptoms, comfort and conditions alongside the numbers; neither score provides medical clearance.

02

Check-in: add the context only you know.

Record energy, sleep, stress or soreness, using front, back and side body views when a location is easier to show than name. Your Coaching explains starting point, current stage, goal and recent training response. Leave uncertain information unknown. A check-in or stage choice does not silently send an AI request or rewrite saved sessions.

03

Plan: choose your way to build the week.

FREE mode offers local manual planning, templates, Run and Trail presets and a 12-week beginner run/walk starter without an account. PRO adds optional AI Coaching after you confirm all seven days of the schedule. Request one programme for that target week, then review it. Manual swaps and Done/Missed updates remain free of AI usage; today-only requests share the stated plan allowance.

04

Session: follow the purpose and steps.

Full-page guidance explains preparation and supported timed stages. Phone recording requires iOS 26 or later. Compatible FTMS treadmills and standard Bluetooth HR sensors supply only the readings they transmit; outdoor GPS recording shows your path on Apple Maps. With permission, save available data to Apple Health. Send supported runs to Apple's built-in Workout app on a paired Watch, recording on phone or Watch to avoid duplicates.

05

Journey: review completed work.

Bring consistency, training trends, workload, plan adherence and goals together over time. Relevant views use comparable road and trail cohorts rather than treating all distances as equivalent. Add feedback about missed sessions and effort changes to explain what a recording cannot show. A saved week is not a completed week, and a prediction is an estimate rather than an official personal best or guaranteed result.

06

Race: prepare, then share deliberately.

Import a GPX course for route preview, elevation profile, separate ascent and descent, and checkpoints. File quality limits the result; this is preparation, not live navigation or a route-safety guarantee. Check the organiser's current information. After training, choose a share-card design, background and available metrics, preview the image and decide where to send it. Nothing is posted automatically.

Visit support
Does PACEVARO work with Apple Health, Garmin or Strava?

Apple Health is optional and is PACEVARO's workout connection. If another device or app records your training, enable its supported sharing to Apple Health first, then approve the relevant PACEVARO read permissions. Available details depend on what that source writes. PACEVARO does not provide a direct connection to every vendor, and saving to Health does not guarantee another app imports every field.

What is required for phone workout recording?

Phone recording requires iOS 26 or later and relevant permissions. Outdoor recording shows your GPS path on Apple Maps. Indoor recording supports compatible Bluetooth FTMS treadmills and standard Bluetooth Heart Rate Service sensors. A Bluetooth logo alone does not establish compatibility. Speed, distance, incline, heart rate and machine energy depend on what the equipment transmits.

How does Apple Watch training work?

Send supported running workouts to Apple's built-in Workout app on a compatible paired Watch, allowing workout scheduling if prompted. Open and record the workout on the Watch. This is a handoff, not a separate PACEVARO Watch app or live phone mirroring. Strength and mobility guidance stays on the phone. Record with either Watch or phone to avoid duplicate workouts.

What can I do with a GPX race course?

Import a GPX course for route preview, elevation profile, separate ascent and descent, and checkpoints before race day. Results depend on the file; missing or estimated elevation is not a measured result. This is course preparation, not live navigation, an official race map or a route-safety guarantee. Check the organiser's current route and conditions.

Will my heart-rate zones or threshold update automatically?

Saved heart-rate zones stay under your control. PACEVARO can show an age-based starting estimate, accept a known threshold, or offer provisional zones from suitable Apple Health run averages. Whole-run averages are not a measured threshold test. Review a suggestion and explicitly apply it to change saved zones; new training data do not silently replace them.
