More trail. More context.

The same distance can ask something very different on a hill. Give terrain, effort and available time a place in the plan.

A CLEARER NEXT STEP

At a glance

PACEVARO supports trail runners with Trail presets, optional AI planning, terrain and equipment notes, elevation context, comparable training trends and GPX course preparation. It helps organise training around the information you provide and record. It does not provide live trail navigation or establish that a route is safe.

MADE PRACTICAL

See what that means for your running.

Useful guidance starts with what you can actually do, and what you choose to share.

01

Plan for the terrain you can reach.

Choose a Trail preset or build your week manually, then add the availability and goals that matter. Optional coaching can use relevant recorded training, elevation and the route or terrain context you supply. Time and effort give useful context when pace changes with the surface. Missing vertical data should remain unknown rather than becoming an invented climbing target.

02

Explain the experience behind the numbers.

Your Coaching offers optional trail details for terrain familiarity, access, equipment and fueling practice. Share what you have actually tried, not what you hope a future plan will prove. Recorded ascent, descent and route-height coverage can be incomplete. Climbing metres are not altitude above sea level, and a high-elevation race goal does not establish acclimatisation or technical readiness.

03

Look at the course before race day.

Import a GPX file to review its route preview, elevation profile, separate ascent and descent, and checkpoints. Use this to understand the information the file contains and the questions to ask the organiser. Missing or estimated elevation is not a measured result. Check the current official course, access, weather and event instructions; the app's preparation view does not guide you along the trail.

04

Keep the whole week in perspective.

A demanding trail outing can sit beside easy running, strength or mobility guidance and recovery in the same plan. Record what happened, add how training felt and review comparable road and trail trends in Journey. A missed run is not automatically fatigue; a completed plan is not evidence of technical skill. Use current comfort and the conditions outside alongside app guidance when deciding what to do next.

Is PACEVARO a live trail-navigation app?

No. GPX course preparation lets you inspect route, elevation and checkpoints before an event. It is not turn-by-turn navigation, an official race map or a safety guarantee. Use the organiser's current information and appropriate navigation tools for the outing.

Can road and trail runs be reviewed separately?

PACEVARO uses comparable road and trail cohorts in relevant progress views. What can be compared depends on the available workout and route information. A similar distance on different terrain does not establish an equivalent effort or result.

Can I include strength or mobility in a trail week?

Yes. The public app includes on-phone strength and mobility session guidance with steps, sets and rest instructions. Build these into your manual week or review them within an optional coaching plan. They do not establish measured muscle activation, injury protection or trail readiness.

Does the app know my current mountain conditions?

Local weather and heat information provide limited environmental context when available. They do not confirm trail access, river levels, visibility, route safety or pollution. Review local official warnings and the conditions at the actual route before leaving.
